Game? Get Set: Match
Getting hitched? Want to realise your bright ideas but don’t
know which? Here’s some inspiration for the big day.
Once you’ve settled
on the dress (and what’s underneath), head to Luella’s
Boudoir (33 Church Road, SW19 5DQ; 020 8879 7744) for the
accessories. You’ll need hair and make-up; hand that
task over to The Bridal Artists.
Book the venue. If you’ve
no stateley and the local town hall depresses you, camp
it up where you like. Decorate with flowers, tattoo the
walls, or go completely green.
When it comes to food, trust
Top Hat Catering or deWintons. Or just order canapes to
your door and serve yourself. Imaginative cakes come from
Amanda Streeter; Michelle Cakes makes bespoke sugar figurines
to go on top.
When it’s all over,
send a cinematic memento to guests, or thank them for their
presence (and their presents) with a personal ThankView
message.
Most importantly, don’t
forget to enjoy yourself. Everything will, no doubt, go
off without a hitch.
Except, of course, the very
kind you’re looking for.
