Pure Anada Mineral Cosmetics

Pure Anada Cosmetics are lovingly made in Canada. Candace Grenier who created the range says "Our goal is to offer an alternative to the traditional, chemical-laden cosmetics. We avoid synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances and flavours in all our products".

Pure Anada has been brought to the UK by Clare Bryce who’s a professional makeup artist specialising in bridal styling.

Clare is passionate about making women feel naturally beautiful and comfortable wearing their makeup.

Over the years Clare has tried numerous foundations but never liked the feeling of them drying on her skin, so she avoided them. Then while researching makeup for her professional kit she decided to have a look at mineral makeup and was instantly hooked.

What’s great about minerals is you can vary the coverage to suit you and your skin. The mineral particles are so fine; you won't even feel like you're wearing any makeup, which is why Clare loves it.

Clare has designed a number of looks using the Pure Anada eye shadows and as not all brides can have a makeup artist on hand, she’s created a simple elegant bridal look, with 3 flattering shades of brown eye shadows.

The colours will complement blonde to dark brunette brides, they can easily adapt the look to suit their complexion. Each step of the look has been photographed and instructions have been added to show how to recreate the look. You can even print off a copy and take it on their wedding day.

Did you know...

...Cleopatra's (the Queen of Egypt) use of milk and honey baths has influenced modern day products.

Since the time cosmetics were being mass produced in the late 1800s, honey was a popular ingredient. Today, manufacturers are increasingly using honey in skin moisturisers, facial masks, hair conditioners and shower gels.
